Link to short presentation. Glad to see all states should be going to 1 AP goose. It’s about time we all play by the same rules.
Anyone notice they are separating the state into two waterfowl zones?
Now we got three different lines to look at between early resident goose, duck zones and late goose. Why dont you just make one line meet in the middle of all three and be done with it! Simplified is logical!
Maybe because the DNR is trying to maximize hunter enjoyment in the field and opportunity. Western MD hunters miss out on a good wood duck migration the first couple of weeks of October.
It’s really not hard to read, it’s pretty clear and understandable.
I didnt say take it away im for the two zones. But route 31 then carroll count line then interstate 83. Thats not very big difference drive time u can do it in 25/30mins way a bird flies way faster. Just take the middle of the three and make it the line for all zones is what in saying which would be county line.
Unfortunately, that’s not how it works.
Agree glad to see the proposal for all states with AP geese to go to 1. Numbers aren't great for geese and everyone now should sacrifice.
I saw a Bill being introduced to make the statewide Canada Goose limit 1 during AP Canada goose season. Any news on this?
Scotty, looks like Bill SB899. News to me. https://legiscan.com/MD/bill/SB899/2021
