No Wednesday reports thread? Ducks must have died. Lol! I wouldn’t know, working all day. Hope those who got out had enjoyable days.

I’ll bite, rain and no wind. Got soaked and ducks did not die. :(

Actually wasn’t trying to stir the pot, but can see how it could read that way. Curious how everyone did, I like seeing pics and reading stories

Sac refuge was slow for our group of three, when two of us left about 12:00 we had 5 birds for 3 guys. Nothing was flying in our area the first hour. Not sure if it was the fog or what but just really empty on our side. Talked to couple other guys they had nine in the first hour then nothing after that.

Blind partner had the morning off and set out some FB duck dekes along the check, says it looks great. Left his gun at home and now has regrets.
    I laughed.

I made a point of driving to the far north yesterday. I got on around 10 the whole way up I kept telling myself I'm taking the furthest walk. My back has been feeling amazing and I had been reminiscent about how me and a buddy used to hunt the sac valley four to five years ago. So I did it. Pushed my way to heavy cart through the Mud. Had to take a ton of breaks because my back is a pos. I stayed till end of shoot time and only got her. found her in the tules and took a quick picture before heading back to the barrel. Had a ton of fun. Today not so much.I could barely move this morning.

Quiet means guys are killing birds. Don’t take a detective to realize that .

Actually, I think it means it sucked for most guys in a warm drizzle with no wind. No doubt some guys got them, even if they were dubious ducks.

North Bay sucked! The flush of birds that came in last week either wised-up or moved on, nothing new came in.
