I am looking for a Quiet soft call for finishing ducks in dry Fields. Something for soft Quacks and feed calls. I would like to buy one today if possible, (wally world is my only option) if not what should I order?:z

From Mo to Canada I have use a old Duck Commander call I picked up for about $6.00 a few years back on clearance. It flat out works and is easy to control. It is the best field finish call I have seen. If that does not trip your fancy then a Wing lock Walnut is my next choice. Gives a little more volume and range, but can be worked in soft and subtle tones as well.

For finish calling I have not seen or heard a acrylic, or poly carb call work as well as these woods even in the hands of some super callers.

Thanks for your help, I have some old wood calls that belong to my Grand father. I never use them. Some of these calls were made in the 50's.
Maybe I will shop for a new wood call.

Try A Echo Timber Or A Rnt Shortbarrel Or Maybe Some Other Calls But They Get Down Very Low

Walmart should carry RNT's Quackhead "Timber" or "Pipe," depending on when it was packaged - same great little call that should suit your purpose to a "T".

Duck Commander Cut-down Reacher is really quiet, as well as the DC Brown Sugar. You can make those things whisper. I use the Cut-Down Reacher as my finishing call.

Who makes that call? I did purchase a camo max call by Duck Commander.
Has a precise hen mallard sound, Blown soft or loud according to the package. Was planing on finding out today but had to go to the hospital, the wifes grandmother was admitted. :cry

    I second the Echo Timber.

I own a poly/diamondwood and it cost me somewhere around $45 with tax.

I hate double reeds but this call changed me. You do not need to use any voice and it has the lowest calling abilities I have seen. I can also do some pretty decent hail calls too but I stay away from those anyways.
