Been running 20lb floro 2-4ft long depending on water depth with no.8-no.10 trebles for my pike walleye tip-ups and having pretty good luck as a mixed bag set-up. Most lakes I fish you are going to catch both and it was always a pain switching leaders or tip-ups out around dark plus you never know when you're going to catch a 36" pike at midnight.
