I think the Timber washs out less in direct sunlight than Bottomland. Of course if you can stay on the shaded side of cover does it matter!

I am a Bottomland fan, that being said, there are variations in the colors of the bottomland design that are better than others. For instance, I have a more brown version of BL that is awesome and much more camouflaged in cypress swamps than the more green version that you see. I wish it was more uniform especially since most people (myself included) buy virtually all their stuff online now

Bottomland is a great pattern. I find most of the other modern patterns way too light for real world duck hunting (great for catalogue photoshoots though).
