Thanks for the input Steve. I am continuing the pursuit of my next “upgrade “ and more info is always a good thing. Hopefully I’ll be able to make the right choice for my wants/needs so I appreciate everyone’s help. Maybe once I finish getting healed up and am mobile again I’ll be able to share the results.

WOW! What state are these redheads? We have none in interior Alaska...I used to see them frequently in northern Utah when I lived there 40 years ago. Great photo!
Not to take anything away from your beautiful photograph but I found my picture of an old hen RH. I've been told that age brings on the white feathers in the crown and neck. It appears to me that your hen has similar coloration. I was done for the day but had several hundred more RD's into the rig before I pulled the rig. They are one of my favorite ducks. If this posting of my picture is inappropriate please advise so I may remove it. Like Ive stated in the past I absolutely love the work you and other post here for our enjoyment.
