I'm not sure how much they even consider suggestions brought forward by the duck hunters. The most recent "improvements" have been new bird viewing platforms. I guess it can't hurt to voice suggestions though.

Yeah not sure if they really care about the people that fund a lot of their projects but can’t hurt.
If I recall correctly it was somebody at one of these meetings that brought up the idea about closing the millet pond down at noon, I’d like to talk with that guy.

That noon closing doesn't make any sense at all. If the goal was to improve hunting, close it on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays like the refuge. Shutting the hunting down at noon doesn't give the ducks enough time to fill back in. Plus it takes away opportunities to get in a good, windy afternoon hunt.

Bring the shell limit back! Too many idiots shooting all day.
I couldn’t agree more, but this seems hard to enforce. I hunted one of those sites last year that have a 15 shell per person limit. I didn’t count, but the two guys in the site next to me must’ve shot at least 50 rounds. I’m sure there are lots of stories like this.

The millet pond should be open all day 7 days a week. I have no idea why they close it. Closing it has no effect on hunting out there. Weather is key there. Just like the ridge unit.

She’ll limits are hard to enforce. Don’t make rules you don’t plan to enforce. They should just drop the limit out there. 3 ducks to hunt the refuge part and go home. Don’t like it hunt somewhere else.

The shell limit is super hard to enforce but it’s better to have something in place instead of guys shooting all day and at everything.
