Retriever Clubs in Local Upper Bay Area

I have an acquaintance the hunts the same area I hunt that is picking up a lab in July and is inquiring about local hunting retriever clubs. Told him I would throw out a line on this forum. If anyone has any tips I would be happy to pass them along to him.

Likely a training group. Just got a new pup.

Maryland and Talbot clubs both have a Derby Qual summer trial the weekend of 6/17 in Cambridge and Trappe MD.

It would be a great opportunity to meet folks from 2 clubs.
