What is in hell is wrong with these guys?
Why would you include 2- .08 in the reed pack and only 1- .10?:scratch
Same thing in two reed packs.

Does anyone know a good place to get some good quality cutdown reeds? and not .08's:doh:l
I'd like to have 6-8 to mess around with.

    Thanks.
    Dan:tu

Since .014 reeds are the cutdown standard. Could be "those guys" have been reading the crap you've written about them here and sent you some super fat reeds to get even. Maybe even blow your own brains out trying to run them...

Cant be of too much help in this case but I frequently replace reeds and tune goose calls for people. I do it for free and for fun. Reeds are expensive for what they are. A few months ago my wife got a laser cutter/engraver. Im going to buy some sheets of mylar and have her cut reeds for me. She is a graphic designer so it is a very simple thing for her. It will also be fun to do some experimenting and try different profiles. For the record Im not going to be duplicating reeds for profit.

Heck why not? there is no shame in copying a reed shape in my opinion, as long as you don't start selling them.

Hahaha, I would never buy anything from them, my mistake on the thickness. It's been a while since I played around with the thick reeds. And if anyone needs to blow their brains out it's you, tool.

I will be for my own use. Just to replace reeds in calls I already own.

Ever try different angle dog ears on each side of the same reed?
