Y'all talking about Lip? He's been fairly quiet lately.

What ever the outcome, the gun buyer will pay for it.

First day back at the hut....

MR Coffee comes out of the pot at 150 degrees.

We have two types of thermometers here at the hut. One shows a 'red zone', that starts at 150, ends at 170.
The other one shows a green zone, that starts at 155 and also ends at 170.

So, colors aside, anything above 170 is considered too hot to serve.

I make drinks by sound, as I steam up the liquid with the steam wand. I know by the sound how hot the drink is. (water and milk make different sounds) I made my drink (Quad shot- sugar free salted caramel-Med) and temped it when I was done. It was 150 degrees, which was almost too hot to drink. 1 minute later, it was perfect.

So, Micky Dee's was serving coffee at 190 degrees. Excessive, and unsafe, to say the least.
