I'm looking into trying my hand at a Saskatchewan DIY trip this coming fall. I've done DIY trips in North Dakota the past 5 years but really want to make my way up into Canada this year. I have all the gear that is needed I'm basically looking more for tips on time of the year to go, areas to avoid, areas to look into, lodging options, things to consider, etc.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    Lost on the gravel
Take all your knowledge from ND and just keep heading north. We ve been doing it for years now and learn something every year yet. Plan on driving a bit more then the ND game and dont hold your self to one town. It is a great country/area and opportunities are endless.
