Oh, I think the Dems know full well that the only candidate that has a chance of winning is a female. They WILL nominate a female.

Hmmmmm? I think may I agree- First it was Black man then a woman? But I thought a woman would have been a POTUS before a minority male.

Sorta like kissing azz for demographics sake. Sadly, the attitude seems to be that gender and race are primary qualifications for the presidency while leadership and wisdom are considered way down the list of non-starters.

Gender - Race - who cares? The Dems don’t have anybody who inspires - who excites their base.

    It’s John Kerry redux.

Repubs have had their share. Mittens, Moderate Maverick McCain, Bob Dole... All uninspiring - and had they given me a SCOTUS list - I might have voted for them.

The 2008 media snowjob presented Obama as inspiring enough for him to get elected. Was that a good thing or simply confirmation the electorate is easily stumped and lacking in critical ability?

And that’s exactly how he got his name @stump
Was hook, line & sinker already taken?

I couldn’t agree w/ 2008 candidate Obama’s policies - or McCains . But Obama had charisma and was inspiring for those who bought his fodder.

As Joe Biden put it back during that first election: “you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy... Barack Obama is probably the most exciting candidate that the Democratic or Republican Party has produced at least since I've been around....”
