Hi all am a California hunter looking to do some second season dove and maybe quail hunting with my son this year..aside from going with a guide anyone willing to help out a fellow hunter with some ideas about where to go on public ground or somewhere could pay trespass fee to hunt?? Looking for the area between Casa Grande and Tuscon as I have a good friend in Tuscon where I could potentially stay..any help greatly appreciated public or private..:thanks in advance!

    Tucson will have birds.
Try down low in the river bottoms adjacent the farms fields for doves.
The mountain wash regions will hold all three types of quail.
    Don’t know about outfitters.

You talk like a guy from California.
Arizona is a public as it comes.
No need for trespass fees and all that.
Walking edges of farm fields should not be a problem. Pick up your shells and be responsible and you should have great hunt. It’s super green.

Thanks Tim, appreciate the reply and the advice..anything good in California for either season is pretty much private ground...not many farmers let people hunt anymore unfortunately.. just looking to see some new country and visit an old friend..
