You need an antigen covid test as well
That wasnt the case in October when we went to Canada--If you flew into the US from Canada, you had to have a covid test. If you drove into the US from Canada, nothing Covid related was required. That is why we flew to Fargo from Indiana, drove across to the Winnipeg area to hunt, then drove back to Fargo to catch our return flight to Indiana. It eliminated the required negative covid test to return to the US.
For Americans, driving back from Canada into the US, no covid test is required while flying back into the US, a covid test is required.
If Canadian, flying or driving into the US or going back into Canada, a covid test is required for both modes of entry.
I have dual, and using my US citizenship when coming back to the states from Canada (several times) and never needed a covid test.
It's called a passport. Or passport card.
If u have proof of us citizenship and are driving from Canada back into us, no test needed
