Shopping on line they want a Tip????

The better half and I had dinner once, the waitress was hands down about the worst I've ever encountered, rude, short fused, and had to damn near build a signal fire to get her to come by table for a refill, or service, better half left her .02$ tip, to show that we didn't forget, but that was about all she was worth.

A few places by us have switched to systems where you order by app at the table not even with someone at a counter. Ridiculous to expect a tip for that. Hell no i'm not adding 20% when all you do is walk an order over and set it down. Last night we went to a local Mexican restaurant and the server was fantastic and we tipped her well. When i have my choice i choose to spend money with places that still value service.

I have no problem tipping the typical services.

Last year we contracted for regular pest service, primarily for mosquito treatment.
Each time they send out a tech, I get a text asking for my "feedback". If you go to the page, it further allows you to tip.

I draw the line here. I am paying a substantial fee for the service, so why should I tip?
