We smelled just a musty urine smell when we got to the turkey blind in the dark, told my son there was a snake around, a couple hours later when we got up to leave, he was a few feet behind the blind.The old-timers here called it the 'spread-head moccasin'.
That is called a "Spread Adder" in Arkansaw.The old-timers here called it the 'spread-head moccasin'.
Someone sent me this pic. They swear it's a real snake but I've never seen one like it unless it a baby corn snake. Any guesses?
