PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE PUT A LOOP AROUND THE STOPPER ON THAT MINT CALL. It can't be replaced.

Not to distract from the thread but there are/were call makers that did not include a lanyard groove for the insert. None of the Hambones, Dick Stewarts, Puddle Duck or Howard Harlan calls I own have a groove for a lanyard loop for the insert. Hell, I've got the 1st call off the production line of a molded Howard Harlan call that didn't have a lanyard groove for the call barrel. You should have seen the look on his face when I pointed that out. About half of the Buck Gardner RNT calls I have (I have a lot) have a lanyard groove for the insert.

Rich-N-Tone and Echo both had early calls with no groove on the stopper.

I put a loop on my RNT for you and me. I have never lost a insert in 57 years. I have quit hunting with few because I was afraid I might lose it. Mainly old Reelfoot metal reed calls.

I've never lost one, but I've sure seen a bunch lost by others. The fact it can't be replaced just makes it a no brainer.

one of kind. I think 13 like this were made and donated to veterans. I asked and had mine engraved with name and branch of service. A beautiful pics of art

Has traveled twice to scotland and has actually called ducks in both the USA and UK

No, it’s not for sale or trade, at least as long as I live.
