I don’t give 2 chits what I look like. Ghey, yuppie, Gucc, hobo, or whatever.
As long as I am warm and dry.
I would wear a pixelated rainbow flag, as long as I stay warm and dry.
Froze my azz off in to many places to care what someone thinks about what I wear.

If you do, then you have some serious inner insecurities you are hiding.

That’s fine, all I’m saying is that every time someone else tries to ruin my hunt, sky blast, litters, blares music all morning, moves in and sets up to close, or generally looks like they sit down to ****; there’s a 90% chance they have some type of Sitka apparel on.

Not everyone who wears Sitka is a fool. But every fool wears some type of Sitka.

Sounds similar to California...

Have seen and worn some of the Sitka layering and outer-wear, and remain uncertain as to if it is worth the cost... I feel like they are riding their name, and there is other good and less expensive options...

But... The Delta jacket is the real deal. Very well laid out for a duck hunter, and hunting the wettest season in years, I never, ever got wet. Everything is dry, shells are easy to access... Good phone pocket... WORTH THE MONEY.

My understanding on the older Gortex, was the cement blinds and metal tanks wear the Gortex... I only wear my Delta if it might rain... Too dam much money to wear it out any sooner than need be, or accidently tear it on something (which is very likely with me).

Don't know about "wear," but water has seeped through where something put pressure on any of the Gortex I've had. In serious rain, I wear Helly-Hansen's Impertec/polyeurothane.

Blasphemy!
Thats just what Waxed Canvas will do. Get so damn stiff when cold that you can,t swing your gun. While i,m sure Filson makes a quality product but i,ll take a jkt. I can swing a gun in easily any day. Had a McCallister waxed canvas years ago that I quicky put onto the Mkt. after one season just because of the stiffness and being so cold. But it was built nice. See Drakes actually brought the same JKt. back.

I have had Helly-Hansen's... No comparison to the comfort or effectiveness of Sitka for shooting waterfowl.

I wear it when it rains (or might rain)... Not sure I would want a Sitka on a fishing boat with hard use every day, but I have had mine 3 seasons, and hunted some hard rain, and no signs it is wearing out yet.
