Damn….How big do you think that sucker is?

Found a fresh one a couple of years ago going across some newly exposed mud. It was at least 4” wide. My son was fishing with me at the time. I kept him closer than normal to me that day. Can’t find the picture. That snake had to be over 12 feet long. We are in python country.

I’m surprised the alligators don’t keep them in check. Or the hogs.

They eat each other about equally. Alligators and pythons.

There are no hogs in the current python range. They were extirpated by Texas mountain lions that were transplanted by the federal government and called Florida panthers or by trappers paid by the state and federal government.
