20 miles south of Jamestown. Tens of thousands.
Snow here too 4 new inches.
Season is closed and the snow geese long gone from SE Idaho.
I did see a handful Easter morning in the Nebraska Sandhills. And a few hundred on water near kadoka SD.
They started arriving here in our neck of the woods yesterday..... Our season runs until June 15th with 50 per hunter per day and no possession limit....GAME ON!!
This time of year with open fields and open water ... here today, gone tomorrow, more again a few days ... birds push hard in the spring ... no so much in the fall.
Seeing that happen a lot in our area right now. Last night spotted 6 potential field shoots. This morning only one of fields had any birds on it. We call it "one and done!"
