I keep hearing rumors there’s some decent numbers around in the Sac. valley. Strange year.
It’s cold up in Canaduh right now. Saw a flock of about 15 flying over the lodge yesterday
Everything is two to three weeks early this year... last year it was 2 weeks late... Mother nature ...she has something up her sleeve this year for us...
We’ll have all the ducks and none of the weather. I think even Mother Nature hates CA
There are snows around. But there always is. Every year when the specks start coming down there is a family group or two that comes down with them. The first family group I saw came down the first full moon in August. Yes, there's a few more down this year than there was at this time last year. But overall definitely not out of the ordinary. The real numbers definitely aren't here yet
Saw snows today from Willows to Woodland...
Maybe 100+- at Conaway Ranch, with a few thousand specks...
Seems like the snows have been trickling in earlier and earlier for a few years now but like @JuvieCoot said Canada is COLD
Snow at Flathead Lake Montana
Snows start showing up in early October, every year. There’s always 10,000s around on the opener. Wrangel island birds mostly.
Saw V's of snows all weekend over the mountains heading towards the valley
