Fantastic photography work....just outstanding.
Thank you very much, rhpierce! I appreciate the kind words!
Ok, so, begging a favor...may I save these for carving reference use? I know you have them copyrighted; I just try to collect as much waterfowl reference as I can. Even the flying shoveler is good, since it is a fully plumed drake that shows the feather groups...
No republishing, just pulling up for painting/carving reference.
You certainly can save them. No problem as long as that's the only purpose you're using them for. And I do appreciate your asking me. I've had problems in the past with others using my photos on their websites for sale purposes.
I get it. Photography is a touchy thing, and it's amazing what people will justify. I mean, I could see it if someone was teaching a carving class and found THE ONE SHOT that showed what they needed perfectly, but holy schnikees...email the photographer or otherwise track him/her down and ask...but to use it on a website for selling? Yikes.
Thanks for the permission. Private reference use only.
Once again, I appreciate your asking, even though you didn't have to.
All beautiful, but the sprig pic is absolutely world class!
Many thanks, Lou! I appreciate your wonderful compliment.
Mike so glad to see you come out of Semi Retirement , don't be a stranger , I've always valued your input , your photography has always spoke for itself , having a soft spot for Portagees may help
LD your post brought tears to my eyes. So glad you and Moxie are back with us.
