    Specks spend more time in Ca than they do up north. They’re just as native as our two legged transients are;)

    This is true, but specks are easy to hunt. But I bet 90percent of the dudes on here couldn't get up one hill to find blues...they would collapse and die on the spot.:clap

    Got some of these today. I am pleased compared to the competition. Will repaint the tail and touch up the face. Will also improve barring. Durability always TBD. 20200805_162007.jpg

    Barring on floaters is SO anatomically incorrect.

    It is my opinion, barring on decoys is to attract purchasers & has little or no significance in attracting birds.

    As someone who had a flock for years...it’s not just your opinion. You can’t see bars on a swimming speck. Lots of creative license is used in decoys.
