The only redeeming thing about some hockey guys coming to town is that the license plates relating to it invariably indicate morons in traffic…red flags, of sorts.

I skipped watching it. I usually just like to check in on the score a few times but they seem to have removed that from their site. I'm so sick of the way pro sports have devolved, I really don't care. I tried to check it out and saw they were doing half an hour of stupid theater with LED guys dangling from the ceiling and a couple of goofballs sword-fighting. Shut it off and said to myself, "well at least the two people in costume sword fighting aren't visibly June-pride cross-dressers."

When hockey moves to the southern states and fans have no idea about hockey culture….this is what you get. It becomes an event, a cool thing to do.

They do have outdoor hockey rinks in Nevada... Florida not so much...
