This place is so dead it stinks worse than a two week old goldeneye.

Talking about a 2 week old goldeneye would at least stir some conversation.
My wood duck nest box near the office which had a momma merg in it successfully hatched out.
Baby geese abound at the local mudhole.
A co worker found a dead banded Canada I helped band 6 years ago.
I'm hopefully headed out to do some catfishing next month.
Snakes are out.
I still haven't gotten my pension (winning the Powerball lottery).
Gas is expensive and climbing (as is food, etc).
Hopefully Putin doesn't put his finger on any red buttons to launch nuclear weapons.
Local dove fields only got half the herbicide needed due to costs.
The Cubs are probably NOT going to the World Series.
Hmmm...anything else worth mentioning?

NASCAR is comin to town next month though. And can you please return my band? I thought I sailed one pretty good back in January. It flew west across the corn field but I had no idea it went that far west. I lost sight of him when he cruised over the tree line next to me.

It once was. Some got chased off. Many went to Facebook. A lot like myself either aged out or became disenchanted with tge state of waterfowl hunting in IL.I wish this place was booming with people.

Not a whole lot going on pertaining to waterfowl this time of yr. Starting to think of duck blind drawings though !!!
