I have broken in quite a few of them for myself and buddies. Noweil is right on target with his advice. I'll just add that I usually strip all the packing/shipping preservative goop off with a good de-greaser like Gun Scrubber and lube the rails with a quality product like Sheath first. During the first box of 3dram 1 1/8oz clay loads don't be surprised if you have one or two jams but two is the most I've experienced so far. After a couple boxes, I've never had another jam out of one no matter what load I shoot thru them. Great guns!I bought a new Beretta a400 recently. Haven't fired it yet. Is there any break-in tactics that I need to perform on it or is it ready to take dove hunting Sept. 1 ?
