This information was taken from an email I received from Stan Clavet, President of Florida Hunters Coalition:

Again this year Florida lawmakers have raided state conservation funds to the tune of $200 million dollars.

The Governor has the veto powder to stop the misuse of public
conservaton trust funds. If we want to see more land open to hunting we must contact his office and tell him to use his veto power to stop the raid on conservation funds that could be used to buy more public recreation lands.

You can email the Governor by going to this site

Make your voice known on this issue or never again complain that we don't have enough land to hunt.
