pulled this off the web today ..

This is a message from the State Water Resources Control Board.

On June 20, 2018 the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation filed petitions for temporary change to transfer up to 14,354 acre‑feet of water pursuant to California Water Code section 1725 et seq. This transfer will involve conveyance of water through the Butte Creek system for delivery to the Sutter National Wildlife Refuge by the addition of two points of rediversion at the intake facilities. Temporary changes involving a transfer of water may be in effect for one year from the date of approval.

Hopefully, the full water allotment makes it all the way down to Sutter via Butte Creek!!

Anyone know the details? - what exactly comprises the "Butte Creek System" for purposes of this conveyance? I might expect that it involves the sourcing and transport of Sacramento River water.

What's needed is a Raging Waters Drop Out del norte. All ya need to do is stand at the bottom and watch for displaced bikinis. :l

I don’t know if a basin that has that much smog can be found north of Gorman.

Man I remember some days there in the late 80s, run around like a madman all Day and your lungs would hurt for 2 days.
