I have been hunting mostly inland waters and lakes but I went out with a friend last year down to Charlotte Harbor and got hooked on hunting saltwater. I am interested in staying around Tampa Bay and I was wondering if there were any spots that were strictly off-limits as being a preserve or park. I am looking around Terra Ceia and Perico Bay. I am not really wanting to reach out to FWC because if I ask 5 different people I will get 5 different answers. Thanks
We just moved to Apollo Beach from Lakeland. Maybe we can hook up this coming season. Moved down from Virginia two years ago and haven hunted since. Eager to get back on the hunt.
I was just fixin to start a similar thread, planning on having the fiancé out of there by duck season but if not would like to know where is legal and where isn’t to hunt. I’ve heard that the Pinellas side is offlimits but can hunt on the Hillsboro side.
Just moved down from Virginia this year and looking for any hunting tips in Tampa Bay. Looking for a hunting partner if anyone is willing to take a person to help split costs. I am experienced.
Roger.. I live in Clearwater and I've just started my journey locally with the Tampa Bay duck hunting. Feel free to give me a call 727-744-2224. Steven
Not true pinellas county is legal I called FWC so should you. It’s not that much trouble to research rumors abound it’s nice to have no pressure hunting so uninformed people lie. Lots of feral green heads THAT IS MY GOOD DEED!
Hey man, I jumped the gun I shot you a text a little bit ago. I'm looking for some clarification on hunting Tampa Bay. That map that's posted above just gives me more questions
Call fwc write every thing they say get names that’s what I did no second hand bs and local DU is useless not sure what he does but definitely doesn’t provide any local information. In his defense the UWF representative isn’t any better so get the information the hard way and maybe I’ll see you out there, NO FREE RIDES!
