They are dumb! Just about any brown decoy will work, heck I have sat on a bucket on a mud flat with no cover and killed them.

Any spinner will do, but bigger is better.

Hurrah for Mn! A few mallard along with the Spatula discors, and if your marsh holds coots, a few of those! We start in late September, when would your season begin?

They're teal, if you think you need special, realistic decoys, you have mental issues. :yes :l ANY DECOY WILL WORK for teal at any time of the season From early teal season until the last day. Like Rubberhead said, you're about to get a TON of bad advice from people that aren't as smart as a teal...

I've had very good luck shooting teal over old Carry-Lite black duck decoys (I call them my Magnum Teal Decoys).
Even when I put out GHG BW and GW teal decoys with and separate from the blacks, the teal seem to want to land with the Carry-Lites over the GHG teal.
And the GHG teal are very good decoys.

As has been said, don't overthink this. Teal aren't the most discerning species of ducks that we hunt.

If you're set on putting out "proper" teal decoys, I can highly recommend the Greenhead Gear and the Avian-X brands. Both top line decoys.

But, you don't need top line decoys to pull teal.....
