    What did you guys see?
    My observation.....
We had a decent season but it was feast or famine. Killed 90% of our birds in less than 50% of our hunts.
We lost a lot of birds the Thursday and Friday before the season.
We never really got a really good push after that.

Went once with my two boys... realized again how much public walk in hunting sucks. Never saw a bird. From the people I talked to, opening weekend was a decent smash and then after that they were hard to come by

I would agree. We saw the greatest number of teal opening weekend. Of course we were targeting geese that weekend. After that the numbers seemed to steadily decline. Only positive for me this teal season was that I took my 6 year old daughter on her 1st duck hunts.

Took my youngest out for his first duck hunts last year. December 2nd.... it’s a great feeling as a dad to be able to share time with them like that

I was unable to hunt teal this year but the guys I typically hunt with smashed them! I believe they shot close to 100 BWT in the 1st week and all from the same general area
