Is anyone seen any? I was on the river fishing Fri and took a back water
cruise.I saw about 200.Surprised the heck out of me.

    What are you guys seeing?

I have always thought the teal season was to late.
A lot of the teal are already south of here when it opens.

It appears I am surrounded by experts.
I agree. The blue wings showed up in SE Louisiana a couple weeks ago.

Did anyone have any luck over the weekend?
I went and never fired a shot. I didn't have very high hopes since the scouting report was not good but I couldn't sit on the couch during the opener.
We did have a goose land in our decoys. Of course the public area I was hunting does not allow early goose hunting.

Setting up Friday afternoon it was not question that we would shoot limits, Saturday morning was a whole different story. They left, 52 degrees, clear skies and nw winds overnight Friday night. They gone! Saw 10 Saturday afternoon, a few more than that yesterday morning and about 20 last night. I did not go this morning but my crew did and saw 1. We will be done till Friday when things cool off a bit.

Saw maybe a couple of dozen yesterday. Rained from LST to about 8:30. Daughter got one bird on two attempts. Not seeing the numbers that we saw last year yet. Puppy 11 mo old YLF, Sookie, got her first retrieve, cripple at that. Great day for my daughter and pup.

We were out working on our blind this morning and saw our first bunch of the season. We are near the Wisconsin state line.
