maybe that is exactly what they are looking for............ $10,000 is a small price to pay to have someone else re-create interest in the bird. When the picture is proven to be fake (after another bird watching season) They will have a scapegoat to blame, but still enjoy the renewed interest and extra govt grants it created. Hmmmmm.....
At the Brinkley meeting, the guy from Montana offered to anyone who could give him rights to a picture, he would pay 1 million dollars. The bird aint there. If it was, it was there because duck hunters thru duck stamp money bought the land. Now I wonder how long is will take Dennis W to remove the area restrictions and hunt quotas. It took 3 months to get them imposed and my bet is that it will take three years to undo it. Say it again MG!!
