Killed a chicken. The plucker took skin off so we did it by hand. I think the water was too hot.
They're like giant chickens holy hell.

The first chicken weighs 8 pounds 5 ounces dressed. Dayum.

Some do, some don't. The chicken saga is bizarre. Slowed down some. Have to dig in to hit 40 k by September.

My wife just said that an 8-pound baking hen goes for $20 here. I only used about $100 in feed. 9 x 20....hm.
I figured sure I was being a fool.

My neighbor completely changed his tune when he saw my wife and I pick up a bee hive full of bees and walk away.
He really thought I'd leave a colony of bees in his yard.
I collect swarms in some very unusual places like the middle of green street last summer.
It was news. Police blocked the street for about an hour.
They called me?. Yup. When the police needs help they call Betty...lol
