Rampant randomness:
On the way to the store and the truck smacked a black vulture flying from a flattened armadillo. Truck suffered a small dent in hood (goes well with the other scratches and dents) but I don’t think the buzzard is going to just “walk it off.”

I do have an open mind I found a video of someone using an oil sprayer on ribs on a barbeque so maybe the gadget could find its way into my arsenal. Whatever the damn thing is called. Mist-O or some ghey name like that.

Decades of working on the road, sometimes staying in the back of the truck, sometimes renting a room, sometimes in motels, I always carried a little Smokey Joe Weber grill, gallon ziplock bags of charcoal, and a charcoal chimney. Chicken, steak, burgers, or hot dogs sure taste good over charcoal, and cheaper than going to restaurants.

True. The logistics of mallard lake:
It's 15 miles to Walmart in Blytheville.
The grocery store in Manilla is about 7.
The very closest place to eat or get gas is called "the old gin".
Not bad at all. Good food if you're needing it.
You can run around constantly or nail your A down at the boat ramp n wait.
It's way smoother if I just get in line at sunset and sleep in my truck.
Alarm is not required.
It's gotten where I grab the hole, sit on it. And wait for the gang. They sleep late and love me for holding the spot.

I have to go to another county to buy booze to drink off the shame. So humiliating.

What sucks is in the pre-dawn 2 minutes til lst and you see color.

Yep I have been there. They do make good jerky.
