Post up something a bit out of the ordinary.
    I’ll start with two:
    1. Fried salt water smelt. To die for. Batter, salt, drizzle of lemon juice.
2.Italian trippa (tripe in chili like sauce with potatoes)

    Over to you :)

    Maybe others do, but...

Largemouth bass roe, fried in butter. Man, I miss that since I left NV

Never done roe (besides caviar). Sounds interesting.
I have had striper sperm in scrambled eggs, though. Wasn’t awful.

'Back in the day' (Early 60's to mid 70's) Dad and I would take the 14' Valco out to Lake Mead and fish till you couldn't see where you were casting. Mead was crazy awesome back then. Not HUGE fish, but easy limits of 3lb'ers. Spring time, a lot of em were crammed with eggs. Couldn't wait to get back home. Just toss the sacks in a hot pan with butter, salt n pepper. Sacks would split open, looked kinda like hot dog buns.
    Couldn't get enough.

I love those types of memories. Mine is fishing Hogan and bringing home the big boys every time (almost). Times were simpler, and it wasn’t that long ago...

I usually eat a deer liver and heart or two every year. Just filleted a bunch of perch that i'll deep fry. i'd trade them for a bunch of freshwater smelt though!

Everyone loves this once they try it...moose shanks cut with a reciprocating saw,
then slowly braised in a deep cast iron pot (osso buco)

Whole wheat ritz crackers drowned in crystal hot sauce. Must not eat them and gain more weight....
