    ALWAYS CHECK GROUND FIRST.
I repaired my lights and looked at the side markers...gone. Everything burned out. Covers smashed. I travel over rocky roads.
Bought new LED side markers and put them on.
    Good as new. $10.

I'm glad you live 500 miles from the coast - I can't even imagine how rusty your stuff would be if you lived near salt water.

The chance of me putting my toe into salt water are very slim. My gun would fall apart and rust to bits. My zipper would rust and I'd p all over muhself. Betty no do ocean. Black River yes. Black Sea no.
I know how to hunt only one kind of duck.
    Park ducks fed on bread.

I went eight years with no working lights on the duck boat trailer. This spring one started working again.

    I'm anal about my lighting.
    Why?
    I bought a Chevy truck.
It had an issue with a brake light/ turn signal and kept burning out bulbs. I got pulled over on Christmas eve. Two tickets. Moving violations.
So I went to court..it was -25 I barely made it and was 2 minutes late. I was denied entry to the court.
Clerks said no worries we will mail you your new court date. So I asked them where?
To the address on your license.
Lady I moved last week here's my new address.
Think I got notified of the new date?
    No.
Later on Grif's cousin took me to jail while holding a pistol to my chest.
Two shotguns at my head. They think I'm dangerous or something.
So I got locked into a cell with "man with horse nuts" they called him that. Later I saw my cell mate get arraigned on murder charges
See what happens when you trust a circuit clerk and her staff of well trained officers?

I was locked up with a murderer over me missing a court date over one element in a light bulb breaking.
That's not supposed to even be possible. :doh

More. He smoked big green cigars in the cell at night. I didn't dare complain.

The brown wire that broke was on the trailer not the truck. Trailer built in 1978.

You should've bought a white Chevy truck.
