To confirm:
1. The Handgun Roster has been eliminated (at least temporarily).
2. The Assault Weapons Ban may be overturned any day?
3. The background check and ban on mailing ammo to individuals in CA may be overturned any day?
4. Are there any other items coming up soon?
Magazine ban is on the block also. All the hearings are done, just waiting for decisions.

This is huge for Ca if all of it pans out like described above. I would be ready in 2 weeks if you have been eyeing some of the myriad of pistols not on our state roster.

I'd be willing to bet several dealers will happily ship them to CA if federal law finally allows it once approved by 9th. Doesnt matter if Newsom goes against Fed law many dealers dont care as their FFL licenses are federal and they dont give 2 s what Newsome says. Another "freedom week" type scenario is brewing here. Id get your wish list in order.

Now to add some sweet new sigs to the shopping list.

Following is a copy/paste from an email received today from a local gun store…

We are getting slammed with phone calls and emails about this.

Please hold your calls about the roster updates. We will keep you informed as soon as we learn more.

The 9th is on notice from the SCOTUS and they sent it back down for review. I hope I'm right, hope you are not. 14 days or less to find out who buys. Even if I lose, I'm buying because this is the first of many victory's. I hope you you like good scotch.

Man, if the roster is roasted in the next 30 days I'm buying the second round!!

Actually, the decision didn't totally roast the roster... It just ruled that the magazine disconnect, the loaded chamber requirement, and the micro-stamping component of the roster is unconstitutional. The roster will still be there, California will still have to approve each gun for sale, and the DOJ could slow the process down to a grind. Guns that will be approved for the roster will still have to have a manual safety and will have to pass the drop test. Manufacturers will have to still submit those guns for approval...

So, unfortunately... no "freedom week" on handguns. Gun will be added individually to the roster under this ruling.
