Today's environment for humanity is sort of lonely and hopeless. I find hope and joy in the little things.
Without my garden, bees, my puppy, and my connections with all these nice folks on a website I'd have probably lost my mind this past year.
I'm thankful for that and count my little blessings daily. Went to the lake last night just to play.
Counting blessings is easy if you try. Find the little rays of hope. They're right under your feet

Absolutely! I was reminded of this the other day, not my quote, " you can't wait for everything to be perfect to be happy, so...why not start today?"

So often I think we worry so much about the outcome we forget to enjoy the journey. I think about how so many of our young people who's heads are buried in their electronic devises that they miss the creation all around them. Last summer we were fishing in the shadow of the Teton mountains when a couple came drifting by in their raft towing their young son behind them on a smaller raft. The kid was playing video games and never once looked up to see what was around him. The Teton river is a beautiful place, my son gets frustrated with all the fish I miss because I just can't focus when there is so much to see.
