In the big picture this will do little but it is a good start. If anything it will help with our fire danger lately. Can’t even fart without worrying about starting a fire currently. It has rained most of the day and it is great to see puddles and the smell of rain was fantastic!

The previous intense drought cycles go back for eons, prior to the utilization of fossil fuels by Homo sapiens.

A friend who hunts SE ND told me he has never saw it as dry as it was this spring up there. Sounds like you are referring to 2019 when there was record rains?

We are long overdue for a good drought. They are part of the cycle.

He must not be very old. The Dakotas have been on a 40+ year wet cycle. Many roads have been flooded out for years.....still lots of roads under water. Let me know when Devils Lake gets back to 1970 levels.

Fellas....the height of goofiness is thinking we are seeing something epic during our speck of time on a gnats arse on this planet.

Duck hunters will kill ducks until there are no more ducks.

Good years, bad years, wet years, dry years......meh....bring it.

I’m referring to last October when I was hunting there.
