Life is too easy for the young! Not enough accountability nor responsibility.

In my youth many of my high school classmates worked part-time, if they wanted a car they had to pay for insurance.

We had chores, we had more discipline, more fathers in homes, the Scouts, athletics and most of fathers or grandparents fought in major wars.

We are very soft, Covid proved that (toilet paper) and its very apparent.

We don't return to yesterday, it's over, we don't get those chances.

Our Cowardly politicians are there for the riches, nor do they work for us anymore!

We are beginning to be rutterless and law and order is frowned upon as Tyranny.

We are in serious trouble...

You're right, but missing a few things... The overwhelming vast majority of teens today (75%) are ineligible to serve in the military because they are either not smart enough, they are obese, they are on psychotropic drugs for mental heath issues, or they have criminal records.

27% are obese
32% have mental health issues
16% have criminal records

It's actually a national security issue... the military is currently not meeting its recruiting standards.

If the older generation has more discipline then why did they take out 30 trillion in debt entitlements and 120 trillion in unfunded liabilities expecting the younger generation to pay the tab? Maybe it was to show them accountability and responsibility?

Was at a ball game in Sacramento Sunday and the anthem was played. If the 6-7k people there I saw maybe 3-400 sitting. All young that I could see. Ages 16-25 almost dominated by Caucasian and African Americans.

Went back to that ball park yesterday and the anthem plays and mind you there are prob 20k there this time for the fireworks. I reckon about 1k did not stand. Again all young and all the same races as stated above.

Every person that was not a native to the county stood proud and sang along with the anthem and cheered with a lot of enthusiasm.

Take it back to 2021 and I was in Miami at a Miami heat game and it was dominated by latins probably 80% of the sold out crowd, that was one of the best displays of patriotism I have ever seen in my almost 40 years.

It's incredible what perspective will do. Those who have lived in war ridden, corrupt, communist, socialist or religiously extreme countries tend to view America for the opportunity that it is. Personally, deploying across the globe was one of the best things that's ever happened to me in so many ways. It gave me a perspective that I never would have had the otherwise. America isn't perfect, but even in its imperfection there's freedom and opportunity that doesn't exist anywhere else. I pity those who can't see that and am embarrassed by the grown children acting out against the very country and freedoms that allow their behavior.
