I have found that most people who have worked for themselves all their life has a harder time retiring.

Yep, I love my boss and may never stop completely.

Been retired just under a year. Wasn't exactly in the plans but not complaining. I help out my youngest son with his business and pick up odd jobs occasionally. Cash is king and I don't commit to a schedule. I like the ability to go at the drop of a hat. Wife works couple days a week to get out of the house and pay for her yearly trip. Staying active is definitely necessary, hard to not gain the pounds.
