. . . No posts on the first day of Goose Season? . . . It's sad, but I have nothing to report either :-(

Not many geese, but managed 3 limits. Picker said business was very slow.

Pickings are slim. They are just starting to trickle in to Easton a few weeks too late.

Managed two limits on the Wye River but it was slow. Lotta poor reports from my fellow hunters.

Saturday I had a lot of mallards around, and less geese than usual; about 1/2 of what I recall from this time last year, though this particular marsh seems to build up in December anyway.

Very little shooting in our general area as well. This was east of Easton off the Choptank.

You folks down there aren't the only ones with few birds. I hunt on the western fringe of the flyway and haven't seen any birds come through. Still seeing woodies around. I'm located a 100 miles south of Lake Erie. Even our local geese have gone into hiding. I thought last year was the worse season I've had in 50 years of hunting but this year is even worse. One thing is for sure don't expect any birds to come your way any time soon.

Dang, that’s a nice buck! Way to get it done, thanks for posting.

I remember when my daughter was young and like hunting with me, now I’m a grandfather and looking forward to my grandson hunting with me.

Hasn’t been too terrible, birds are acting a bit odd, but we are still getting them.
