I’m really not anxious at all. I just pay attention. This world and especially this country is all kinds of messed up. I’m not a selfish person and I would genuinely feel bad if I brought a human into this world right now.

The best sales manager I had when I was in college used to tell us "you'll worry less about what people think of you when you realize how little they care." Now he didn't come up with that quote, but it always resonated with me. For us, I'd expand your above to include our close friends, but yep.
I work on keeping my moral compass and my families in the right direction and try to be a good human. I can't control or change what other people outside my circle are doing.

That’s not what that means vasectomies can be reversed it’s far from mutilation. Removing of the testicles sure but not a vasectomy

Sorry, but I don't see the snipping of two vas deferen tubes, that can reversed, as mutilation. I do see the removal of the penis and testicles, orchiectomy, to be mutilation.

1. The "news" sells clicks.
2. Anger, outrage, and resentment garners clicks.
3. The "News" therefore peddles stories purposely designed to anger, incite, and outrage their audience.

It's one big feedback loop. The choice to opt in or out is ours alone.

Turn off your TV. Put down your phone. Go outside. Talk to your neighbors. Talk to strangers. Talk to family members....yes, even ones with different views or politics than yourself.

You'll realize most people are not your "enemy". You'll realize most anger and resentment is self inflicted. You'll realize "they" have zero real impact on your life. You'll realize things aren't going to hell. In fact, you'll realize life is pretty damn awesome.
