Since I got a few likes on this I thought I'd post the photos. They didn't come through all together so I made a composite. I know there's got to be a good story behind this... 2020-12-23 Decoying Veggies Composite.jpg

Another untold story of duck season...saw this at a local boat ramp...I'm sure there's a story...I'm sure I don't want to know it. 2021-01-26 Story at the Boat Ramp (PS 1024).jpg

BTW - I doubt the two stories are related...then again, maybe.

I'm pretty sure that I would enjoy hearing the details....
It would be like about half of the other stories I hear & tell in the duck blind.:yes:l:flame

I was up in the attic last weekend looking for some gloves, and found a green tub that had about 2 or 3 cases worth of loose 10 gauge shells that i had completely forgotten about.

I haven't shot the old mag ten since it got a bulge in the barrel a few years ago while i was turkey hunting.

Don’t care about stories. Like picture books.

Last year we had one of our guys turn a boat over while adjusting decoys. We lost a push pole, my yeti cup of coffee and a few other things. This morning while taking the dog out, I found my yeti cup wedged under some vines on the levee. The inside was completely sealed.

Not this year but... We had been hunting flooded river bottoms. One day I had to leave early and not wanting to f'up everyone's hunt I road the Foreman as close as I could get and waded out to the boat. When it came time to leave another hunter left with me. So we're walking along a fence row in waist-deep water with saplings sticking out of the water may be a foot or two. Got to where we could see something in the sapling tops ahead of us. It was a rabbit, surrounded by water, about 200 yards from dry land. I grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and off we went.

I have to admit I would've took those horns off an old dead deer too.
Nice set of rattlers there. Or maybe a knife handle or two.
