Got my RT700 together & fired up. A few things I noticed... 1) check the feed rate. I wasn’t getting the smoke I felt I should & found that the feed rate was really low. Bumped it up and got better smoke. 2) I did skinless thighs and I’d definitely recommend adding a water dish inside to keep moisture up. The fan dries things out. 3) It definitely has a hotter side & cooler side. 4) it definitely cooks more like an oven so you don’t really get the crust on the racks that I did on a charcoal grill. Grill grates might fix that. It’s definitely built well & holds temp like nobody’s business. Definitely happy so far but still need to get my Temps dialed in.
