Really I had gotten all frazzled. That little 3x3 mulie buck ran past me twice, then two does, then fawns with spots which literally ran into my pickup bumper, then the one ran into my pickup door which was open,,, then I hit send.

Just saw one a few days ago in a little town in northwest Louisiana---first one I've seen in years.

They used to be a thing up here ,had to Google it .
There are none in Iowa anymore ,1 in Minnesota, and a fair amount in Wisconsin.
