trees

    looks like all the trees in our duck place will be dead if they don't get water off soon . and that don't look like that will happen .

    Yup, the damn beavers plugged one of our water control structures after the season was over and killed a 5 acre green timber hole. Have I said how much I hate those SOB’s.

    Truman has just peaked at a bit over the top of the flood control pool. Barring any more big rains, their protocols for release will generally pick up speed to the point they drop the lake by about 6 inches per day. They will back off those releases as the lake drops. Thus you are looking at a LONG time to get the lake off your trees. They wiped out our big beautiful oaks in the bottoms back in 1993.

    Here's a big pecan tree in the yard with the lake at ~739.5. It will probably be fine, but there are more in 25' of water that will be hurting.

    cant imagine ours making it there probably to the top of them most of them under ,

    Truly sad to lose trees. You can't replace them except with time. Be Well, Packrat
