Well even though I'm fighting a sinus infection, I managed to get a 25 round box of 1 once number 4 sized tss buckshot loaded up for testing.

Same load and components used in my 1 once duck/goose load just changed out the shot size to number 4 tss buckshot.

Also going to be loading a 25 round box 1 1/4 once load of number 4 tss buckshot to test as well.

Louisiana says it has to be buckshot, so number 4 tss buckshot is the smallest I could legally go with.

1 once has 13 pellets and 1 1/4 has 16 pellets.

Did you use a Mylar wrap in those test loads?

Who is doing the testing?

What choke will you be shooting these loads through?

No mylar wrap. Load doesnt call for it.

It's one if hals pressure tested loads.

Going to start with a C constriction choke first in my 390 and see what it does.

I'm in on this one. Check the wads also let us know. There's no way I'd run that thru my 10ga without a mylar...actually I don't know I'd even run that size thru my 10ga is that barrel chrome lined if so the barrel might take the abuse cause I'm thinking that's going to burn thru the wad derbyacresbob how many deer will it take to stop number 4 tss lol.

I did... in reference to the point that I don't think i would do that to my 10ga let alone a 12. I'd definitely research if and what other people have done and the results and would definitely ask Hal what he thought about it it may be just fine but that's some big stuff and unless you don't care about possibly ruining the barrel cause if that stuff gets thru the wad or binds in the choke things could get interesting. I'm definitely interested how this goes for you good luck.
