Sorry I don’t get it. This defeats the purpose of using buckshot from a safety perspective. Can you use HTL in that size legally? You should prob use a heavy mylar wrap regardless unless Hal tested buckshot size TSS. The same pellets I agree do not need one in a quality wad.Well even though I'm fighting a sinus infection, I managed to get a 25 round box of 1 once number 4 sized tss buckshot loaded up for testing.
Same load and components used in my 1 once duck/goose load just changed out the shot size to number 4 tss buckshot.
Also going to be loading a 25 round box 1 1/4 once load of number 4 tss buckshot to test as well.
Louisiana says it has to be buckshot, so number 4 tss buckshot is the smallest I could legally go with.
1 once has 13 pellets and 1 1/4 has 16 pellets.
